The Sd reference point is located between the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) and the Traffic Detection Function (TDF). The Sd reference point enables a PCRF to have dynamic control over the application detection and control (ADC) rules at a TDF. The Sd interface enables the signaling of ADC decisions, which governs the ADC behavior.
